Donna and Ray Forsythe

Ray and Donna Forsythe, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Scott and Cindy Tolan, of Morton Grove, Illinois; Ray Forsythe, of Washington, Illinois; Brian and Kathy Forsythe, of Clare; Kevin and Rhonda Forsythe, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Scott and Ann Schulte, of Fort Dodge. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Their daughter, Diane, and one grandson are deceased.

They were married on Feb. 4, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph. He spent most of his career at the Fort Dodge Creamery and she spent most of her career as a bookkeeper for various construction companies. After raising their children in Fort Dodge, the couple lived in Perry and Spirit Lake before returning to Fort Dodge after retirement.
