Joyce Peck

Joyce Peck, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 80th birthday on Nov. 16.

Her family includes Jerry and Darcy Peck, of Oswego, Illinois; Amy and Bruce Walrod, of Moorland; and Lori Cook, of Fort Dodge. She has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Don, is deceased

Joyce Strutzenberg was born Nov. 16, 1940, in Fort Dodge. She grew up near Knierim and during her high school years her family moved to Fort Dodge, where she graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1958. She married Don Peck and together they had three children. She worked at Fort Dodge Labs and Randall Foods. She retired from Randall Foods and stayed at home watching her grandchildren through their early years. Her husband passed away in 2013.
