Margaret Walsh

Margaret “Peggy” Walsh, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 95th birthday on Sunday.

Her family includes Nick Walsh and Vicki Hibbert of St. Charles; Ken and Anna Walsh of Coalville; Barry Walsh, Kathleen and Jim Schreier, and Mary Ann Black, all of Fort Dodge. She has 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Clement, and son-in-law, Jerry Black, are deceased.

Margaret Fisher was born Nov. 1, 1925, at Barton-upon-Irwell, near Manchester, England. She and Clement Walsh, of Moorland, were married on Jan. 10, 1946 in England. She was a homemaker, a volunteer manager of Catholic Charities Clothing Center, and a sales representative for Field Enterprises (World Book/Childcraft).
