Winona Flaherty

Winona (Win) Flaherty, of Fort Dodge, is celebrating her 90th birthday today.

Her family includes Judi Johnson, of Fort Dodge, and Sue and Steve Kadlec, of Altoona. She has one grandaughter. Her husband, Larry, died in 2002.

Flaherty was born on Aug. 1, 1930, in Pleasanton. She retired from Woodruff Construction on July 28, 1992, after 25 years with the company.
