Brad and Val Wehde, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Their family includes Julie and Chris Ulrich and Kevin and Kim Wehde. They have five grandchildren

Val Starkweather and Brad Wehde married on June 20, 1970, in Greene. She retired after 34 years as a manager of OneMain Financial. He retired after 28 years with Quad States and then 20 years self-employed at Wehde Construction.
