Edwin and Nancy Spire, of Fort Dodge, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 6.

Their family includes Anna and Brent Lannin, of Lincoln, Nebraska; Bruce Spire, of Ames; Amy and Blake Jaschke, of Slater; and Laura Spire, of West Des Moines. They have four grandchildren.

Nancy Secor and Edwin Spire were married on June 6, 1970, at First Congregational Church, Fort Dodge. After living for years in Webster City, they retired to the country near Fort Dodge.
