Charles and Ardis Peters

BADGER — Charles and Ardis Peters celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Scott Peters and Abby Ruiz of Austin, Texas; and Laura Peters and Ken Ringenberg, of Des Moines.

Charles Peters and Ardis Koch were married on June 4, 1970, in Wellsburg, where they both grew up. They moved to the Fort Dodge area in 1977 when Charles began teaching Ag Business at Iowa Central Community College. After many years managing their own small business, Charles worked at Menard’s and Ardis in the healthcare field.
