GOWRIE — Ray Norine, of Gowrie, will celebrate his 90th birthday on July 5.

His children are Gregg and Martha Norine, of Gowrie; Ron and Bernita Norine, of Fort Dodge; Shellsy and Kees VanZelderen, of Jefferson; Brian and Karen Norine, of Rockwell City; and Lori and Rick Peterson, of Cottonwood, Arizona. He has 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was born on July 5, 1930, and has attended 90 Fourth of July celebrations in Gowrie. The first was with his mother a day before his birth and 89 thereafter.
