Leola Weiland

Leola Weiland, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Monday.

Her family includes husband Garret Weiland; Cynthia and Tony Salvatore, of Fort Dodge; and Scott and Karen Weiland, of Cincinnati, Ohio. She has two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Leola Uhlenhopp was born June 1, 1930 in Aplington. The couple moved to Fort Dodge in 1957 after he joined the Iowa Highway Patrol. She retired from Fort Dodge Community Schools after teaching elementary school for more than 30 years.
