Norris Smith

GOWRIE — Norris Smith, of Gowrie, will celebrate his 70th birthday on June 7.

His family includes Regina and Adam Suhrbier, of Fort Dodge, and Brock and Lindy Smith, of Gowrie. He has two grandsons.

Smith grew up on a farm in northeast Iowa. He attended Iowa State University and taught Ag/FFA at Prairie Community School and worked at the co-op. He later worked at Land O’Lakes. He survived a brain aneurysm in 1991.

He was born on June 7, 1950.
