Roy Dillon

Roy Dillon, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 90th birthday on Wednesday.

His family includes his wife, Carol; Wade and Sharlene Dillon, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; Annette Julson, Fort Dodge; Tom Dillon, Elizabeth, Colorado. He has seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. His son-in-law Mic Julson is deceased.

He was born on May 27, 1930. He has spent his entire life in Fort Dodge. He and his wife have been married for 68 1/2 years. He worked for Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric for 43 years. He served 22 years in the Iowa Army National Guard and and he is a member of Golden Kiwanis, First Presbyterian Church, and Fort Dodge Rifle and Pistol Club.
