Velma Ramus

Velma Ramus, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Garden Village Community Center, 2736 Second Ave. N., Fort Dodge.

Her family includes Carol and Steve Page, of Fort Dodge, and David and Sharon Ramus, of Rathdrum, Idaho. She has seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband Orval Ramus, daughter Lavonne Lewis and one grandson are deceased.

Velma Meyer was born on March 2, 1920.
