June Lawler

CLARE — June Lawler, of Clare, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Saturday.

Her family includes Kevin Lawler, of Coral Springs, Florida; Keith and Cathy Lawler, of Fort Dodge; Kurtis and Kely Lawler, of Grimes; Kelly and Merilee Lawler, of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Kris and Julie Lawler, of Rocky Mounts, North Carolina; Gina and Jody Sitzmann, of Sioux City; Lisa and Randy Jones, of Cedar Rapids; Shela-Lyn and Brad Boxberger, of Scottsdale, Arizona; Kerry and Kim Lawler, of McClesfield, North Carolina; and Julie Lawler, of Ankeny. She has 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband Emmett Lawler and daughter Mary Lawler are deceased.

June Heid was born on March 14, 1930 in Pocahontas. The family later moved to a farm near Barnum. She was a night shift nurse at the Humboldt Hospital for many years.
