DAYTON — John and Doris Hambleton will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Monte and Kathy Hambleton, of Sugarland, Texas; Blake and Melissa Hambleton, of Richmond, Texas; Mitch and Ruth Hambleton, of Dallas Center; and daughter-in-law Jane Hambleton, of Fort Dodge. They have six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Their son, Mark Hambleton, is deceased.

Doris Mary Hoyer and John Howard Hambleton were married on April 3, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dayton.
