Clarice Rossow

Clarice Sylvia Rossow, of Fort Dodge, celebrated her 85th birthday on Feb. 4.

Her family includes Dana and Crystal Rossow, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; Cory and Kristin Rossow, of Morgan, Minnesota; Julie and Terry Madden, of Fort Dodge; Amy and Keith Collins, of Edina, Minnesota; and Christine and Rick Thompson, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She has 15 grandchildren. Her husband, Maynard Rossow, is deceased.

Clarice Sylvia Johnson was born on Feb. 4, 1935, in Storm Lake. She worked as a teacher in Pomeroy, Des Moines and Fort Dodge. Upon the birth of her children she became a stay-at-home mom. She then worked as a substitute teacher and owned and operated Rossow Interviewing.
