Jolene and John Swanson

John and Jolene Swanson, formerly of Fort Dodge, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Stephen Swanson, of Ankeny, and Stefanie and Dave Baitinger, of Ogden. They have three grandchildren.

They were married Aug. 30, 1969, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boxholm.
