Nancy and Wilbert Messerly

Wilbert and Nancy Messerly, of Fort Dodge, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Mindy and Joe Lankford, of Lehigh; and Sarah and Rich Turnham, of Fort Dodge. They have four grandchildren. Their son, Wilbert Messerly Jr., is deceased.

They were married on Sept. 12, 1969, in Fort Dodge.
