Maxine Henry

Maxine Henry, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 85th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the VFW, 2835 Fifth Ave. S.

Her family includes Deb and Ken Sjogren, of Otho; Michelle and Harley Foster, of Fort Dodge; Thomas Henry, of Fort Dodge; and Richard and Brenda Henry, of Lehigh. She has 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband Clair Henry is deceased.

Maxine Porter was born on Sept. 18, 1934, in Fort Dodge. She is retired from Globe Union (Central Lab).
