Jim and Lois Allison

Jim and Lois Allison, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday with an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. at the shelter at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, 1415 Nelson Ave.

Their family includes Roy and Liz Allison, of Badger; Carrie and Rod Guerin, of Fort Dodge; Jodi and Chris Heslop, of Callender, and Jamie and Melissa Allison, of Fort Dodge. They have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lois Henrichs and Jim Allison were married on Nov. 7, 1969, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
