MANSON — Marlyn (Hoop) and Jeannine Johnson, of Manson, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Their family includes Julie and Mark Tague, of Manson; and Craig and Rosann Johnson, of Webster City. They have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

They were married Aug. 21, 1954, at First Covenant Church, Des Moines. He is a retired teacher/coach from Manson-Northwest Webster School in Manson. He is also retired from his Johnson Construction Company. She is a retired floral designer, working many years for Becker Florist in Fort Dodge.
