LAKE CITY — Daryl Heim, of Lake City, will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Community Center, Auburn.

His family includes Kevin Heim, of Des Moines; Jeanie Culver, of Fort Dodge; Terrry Heim, of Otho; Debbie Tuchbaum, of Florida; Mary Brezovan, of Otho; Melanie Patterson, of Fort Dodge; Sandy McCauley, of Lake City; and three stepdaughters. His wife, Peggy, is deceased.

Heim was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Lake City.
