Linda and Bruce Gunderson

HUMBOLDT — Bruce and Linda Gunderson, of Humboldt, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6.

Their family includes Molly Peaton, of Humboldt; Todd and Pam Gunderson, of Ellicott City, Maryland; and Beth and James Martin, of Port Charlotte, Florida. They have two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Their grandson, Christopher Peaton, is deceased.

They were married on Sept. 6, 1959, at First Baptist Church in Storm Lake. He taught and coached in the Humboldt school system for 39 years. She also worked in the Humboldt school system as well as the Chamber of Commerce in Humboldt. Both are retired.
