Norene Carpenter

Norene Patricia Carpenter, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 80th birthday Friday.

Her family includes husband Daryl Carpenter; Scott and Blanca Carpenter, of Andover, Massachusetts; and Kristy and Eric Samuelson, of Fort Dodge. She has three grandchildren.

Norene Twait was born Aug. 16, 1939, in Graettinger. She graduated from Graettinger High School, Waldorf College and Buena Vista University. She is retired from teaching for the Fort Dodge Community Schools.
