Daryl and Norene Carpenter

Daryl and Norene Carpenter, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.

Their family includes Scott and Blanca Carpenter, of Andover, Massachusetts, and Kristy and Eric Samuelson, of Fort Dodge. They have three grandchildren.

Norene Twait and Daryl Carpenter were married Aug. 9, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Depew. He is an agricultural engineer retired from the Soil Conservation Service. She is a retired teacher from the Fort Dodge Community Schools.
