Alta Peterson, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Wednesday.

Her family includes Jean and Mike Miller, of Duncombe; Joan Peterson, of Fort Dodge; and Lori Peterson. She has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Arthur, and sons, James and Harold Peterson, are deceased.

She was born June 12, 1929. She grew up in Eagle Grove and moved to Fort Dodge in 1967.
