Nielsen — 60 years

Hans and Darlene Nielsen, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from noon to 3 p.m. June 30 at Holy Trinity Parish Center, 402 N. Eighth St.

Their family includes Debbie and Dave Flattery, of Fort Dodge; Susan and John Hackett, of Libertyville, Illinois; Steve and Cynthia Nielsen, of Allentown, Pennsylvania; Michael and Desha Nielsen, of West Des Moines; Dan and Jenny Nielsen, of Clive; and Jenny and Joe Harestad, of Grimes. They have 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Hans Nielsen and Darlene Formanek were married June 4, 1959, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan.
