Dennis and Jean Johnson, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Wednesday.

Their family includes Sherry White, of Readstown, Wisconsin; Andy and Andrea Johnson, of Mason City; Jacob and Kinga Johnson, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; and Ben and Andrea Johnson, of Fort Dodge. They have 11 grandchildren.

They were married on July 3, 1969, at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, Wichita, Kansas. He owned and operated the Taco Tico restaurants in Fort Dodge and Mason City and the Wendy’s Restaurant in Fort Dodge. He recently retired.
