Bill Kibby

Bill Kibby, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 80th birthday on Friday.

His family includes his wife, Mary; Kevin and Deb Kibby of Polk City; Kris and Craig Wegner, of Sergeant Bluff; Jim and Kathy Bocken, of Fort Dodge; and Kara and Tim Birkey, of Algona. He has 12 grandchildren.

He began his teaching and coaching career with the Bayard schools. He continued teaching and coaching along with being athletic director for the Johnston Schools, St. Edmond Schools, and Jefferson-Scranton schools.

He was born May 3, 1939.
