Steve and Jill Lawler, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Tammi Lawler, of Alexandria, Virginia; Amy and Mike Johnson, of Fort Dodge; Andrea and Matt Bohnenkamp, of Grimes; Lindy and Brock Smith, of Gowrie; and Lori Lawler, of Des Moines. They have seven grandchildren.

Jill Fischer and Steve Lawler were married Feb. 1, 1969, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pocahontas.
