LaVonne Keppers

LaVonne Keppers, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Eagle Grove, will celebrate her 95th birthday on Jan. 29.

Her family includes Linda and Jerry Toomer, of Indianapolis, Indiana; Marilynn Clark and Jack Baloga, of Bloomington, Minnesota; Patricia and Clark Wadle, of Clarion; Jonetta and Dave Harrington, of Cedar Falls; Lori and Craig Gascho, of Badger; Karla and Dan Swanson, of Northfield, Minnesota; and Barb Dencklau and Bob Porter, of Fort Dodge. Her husband, Harold, is deceased.

LaVonne Hood was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Fort Dodge. In the 1970s through the 1990s, she owned two dress shops in Fort Dodge: LaVonne’s Bridal Lane and The House of William Dress Shop.
