Her family includes Victoria McCabe and Jeru Hense, of Denver, Colorado; Mike and Nancy McCabe, of Clare; Dan McCabe, of Clare; Mark McCabe, of Phoenix, Arizona; Kelly McCabe, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Tom McCabe, of Clare; and Ray and Linda McCabe, of Clare. She has six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband Ray is deceased.
Ruby Egli was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Fort Dodge. She and her husband farmed in the Clare area, retiring in 1983. After retirement they helped take care of the elderly.
