First United Methodist Church will hold their next Manna Meal at 5 p.m. today at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 239 N. 11th St. Food will be provided by First United Methodist Church. Bingo will be played following the meal.
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1007 First Ave. S., will be having a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper on Feb. 13. It will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. All you can eat pancakes and sausage are available for a free will donation. There will also be milk, juice and coffee served. Take out will also be available. Proceeds will go to Icky’s Youth Center, a local center sponsored by seven local churches, including St. Mark’s. Shrove Tuesday is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and is the last day for celebration and feasting before the Lenten fast.
Keys to forming and maintaining lasting friendships will be explored at noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lifetree Cafe. PALMER — St. Paul Lutheran Church will host a soup and pie dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the church in Palmer. Cost is a freewill donation. The snow date for the dinner is 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
