FD man sent to federal prison on gun charge A Fort Dodge man has been sentenced to a little more than seven years in federal prison for firing a gun last year in the city, according to prosecutors. Michael Turner, 35, was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa reported.
