Ohio man in jail in Fort Dodge sex abuse case A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Fort Dodge last fall has been jailed, according to court records. Christopher J. Carpenter, 21, of Perrysburg, Ohio, was arrested by Fort Dodge police and charged with third degree sexual abuse. In the criminal complaint filed against him, police wrote that between 11 p.m. Oct. 9, 2025, and 1 a.m. Oct. 10, 2025, Carpenter performed a sex act against the victim’s will. FD man sent to federal prison for sex crimes A Fort Dodge man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for sex crimes involving minors, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa reported. Pry’Shayn Mosley, 21 pleaded guilty in November to sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution of child pornography, federal prosecutors reported.
