MANSON — Two people are dead and four others injured following a near head-on collision in Calhoun County Saturday night. The accident happened around 9:50 p.m. on Iowa Highway 7, approximately three miles east of Manson, according to the Iowa State Patrol. According to officials, a van driven by 46-year-old Wilfredo Quevedo Mesa, of Storm Lake, was westbound on Iowa Highway 7 when the vehicle crossed the center line and was struck by a pickup driven by 21-year-old Conner Darr of Manson.
