Shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Fort Dodge Police Department and Fort Dodge Fire Rescue responded to single vehicle accident with a pickup truck on its top with a male driver trapped in the southbound lane of Lainson Avenue, just south of the Highway 7 junction. Emergency personnel were able to extract the driver, who was taken to UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Centers in an unknown condition. No information on what caused the accident or if there were other passengers was available by press time.
