STANHOPE – A Fort Dodge woman was killed in an accident Thursday after she lost control of her vehicle.
Heidi Beisch, 47, was identified as the accident victim by the Iowa State Patrol.
The accident was reported at 4:26 p.m.
According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, Beisch was southbound on U.S. Highway 17, in a 2009 Nissan Quest minivan when she lost control and spun into the path of 2014 Chrysler Town and Country minivan driven by Emily Loughry, of Webster City just north of the Boone/Hamilton County border.
Loughry’s van struck the passenger side of Beisch’s van.
Beisch was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
