Arby’s to open Dec. 3

By Chad Thompson 2 min read

Arby's, the fast-food sandwich restaurant chain, will open its Fort Dodge location on Dec. 3, according to Abbey Ramsey, director of marketing for DRM Inc., an Arby's franchisee.

The restaurant is located at 2908 Fifth Ave. S, along the city's Corridor of Commerce.

The building was home to Fazoli's before it closed in February.

The 3,500-square-foot space has since been converted into an Arby's restaurant. It will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a drive-through option, according to Ramsey.

Inside the restaurant, up to 88 guests can enjoy seating options including a communal table or eating bar with bright red chairs and multi-media charging outlets, Ramsey said.

Signature Arby's sandwiches include the smokehouse brisket, loaded Italian, and gyro. Other classic favorites like the roast beef, beef 'n cheddar, Jamocha shake, and curly fries, will be on the menu.

"We're excited to add 50 local employees to our Fort Dodge team," said Marc Johnson, owner and chief operating officer of DRM, Inc. "We're passionate about growth opportunities through our develop from within program."

In celebration of the opening, guests can register in-store for a chance to win a $100 Arby's gift card through January 31.

Guests can enter to win $1,000 by following instructions on their Arby's receipt.

Arby's will host a grand opening celebration on Jan. 9 and 10.

"We invite the community to experience Arby's premium deli-inspired sandwiches from our classic roast beef to our Greek gyro," said Matt Johnson, owner and CEO of DRM, Inc. "We're thrilled to be opening in Fort Dodge and eager to serve you."
