Applebee’s robbed early Sunday

The Fort Dodge Applebee’s was robbed early Sunday morning.

According to Fort Dodge Police Capt. Ryan Gruenberg, the robbery was reported at 1:49 a.m. Witnesses reported that an armed man came into the restaurant and demanded money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the restaurant and fled south.

Nobody was hurt.

The suspect has not been found.

He is described as a young, tall black man with a thin build. He was wearing a mask, a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
