Fort Dodge Firefighter Kyle Porter sprays water into the trunk of a burning car Friday morning. The car was at Fourth Avenue North and North 26th Place. Lt. Tom Ubben, of the Fort Dodge Fire Department, said there were some electrical issues with the fuel pump in the back of the car, which caused the material in the trunk of the car to catch fire. Ubben said the car is a total loss. The Fort Dodge Police Department was on scene to help with traffic control.
