The car’s driver, Jason Halverson, 18, of Fort Dodge, was examined at the scene by paramedics from UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center, but was not taken to the hospital. Stringer said Halverson was operating a Pontiac Grand Prix eastbound on Parker Drive when he lost control on a curve just west of Nathan Boulevard. The car went off the road into the ditch and ended up on its roof. Moorland firefighters also responded to the crash, which was reported at 9:11 p.m.
