TWIN LAKES – A Lohrville woman was killed in a vehicle accident in Calhoun County Friday evening.

The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as Deana Bencheck, 44.

According to the ISP, Benchek was southbound on Iowa Highway 4 when she crossed the center line and collided head on with a semi tractor trailer, driven by Jamie Manwarren, 43, of Emmetsburg.

Benchek was pronounced dead on the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the ISP.
