Bodies found Friday in FD house

Police: Foul play not suspected in deaths

Two bodies were found in a Fort Dodge house late Friday afternoon, and police are investigating the situation.

However, Police Chief Kevin Doty said Friday evening that foul play is not suspected.

Police did not release the names of the deceased individuals because the process of notifying their families was still underway Friday night.

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Trinity Regional Medical Center were sent to 230 Ave. D at 3:26 p.m. when an individual was reported to be unresponsive and possibly deceased at that address. Doty said emergency personnel found two dead bodies in the house: one male and one female.

Both bodies were transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Ankeny for autopsies, according to the Police Department.

Some of the emergency personnel at the scene wore protective suits and self-contained breathing apparatus while removing the bodies.

The house at 230 Ave. D is owned by Norma J. Bradley, according to online records of the Webster County Assessor’s Office.
