BARNUM — Carole and Gene Lynch, of Barnum, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Denise and David McNitt, of Council Bluffs; Mark and Janine Lynch, of Barnum; and Karen and Jeff Pierick, of Des Moines. They have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The couple was married Aug. 3, 1957, at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Clare.
