Dodgers swept at DM Roosevelt
DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge baseball team couldn’t scratch any runs across in a doubleheader sweep versus Des Moines Roosevelt on Wednesday.
The Dodgers were edged in the nightcap, 1-0, after dropping a 10-0 opener.
Sophomore Royce Pederson fired a complete game four-hitter in the second contest, but FDSH (15-15 overall) finished scoreless.
Sophomore Jase Nekvinda was 2-for-4 at the plate. Senior Dalton Rosalez doubled.
Rosalez had the lone hit in the first game. The Roughriders plated seven runs in the first inning and never looked back.
Roosevelt (19-11) has won six in a row, and is 19-5 since starting the season 0-6.
