GAEL LINEUP: 106 — Ronnie Orres, fr., (12-6); 113 — Ryan Duckett, jr., (10-1); 120 — Rick Xu, jr., (1-11); 132 — Elly Berry, so., (4-12); 138 — Cayne Reed, so., (0-2); 145 — Johnny Dickerson, fr., (1-11); 152 — Tyler Rossmanith, so., (3-10); 160 — Grant Webster, so., (2-5).

THE ACTION: Wretling action will begin inside the Iowa Falls-Alden High School gym at 6 p.m. The Cadets will meet the Gaels in the first dual. St. Edmond will then face Roland-Story. Iowa Falls-Alden will finish up its Senior Night with a dual against Roland-Story.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaels competed in the Tiger-Knight Invitational before Christmas break. Eighth-ranked junior Ryan Duckett (10-1) went 5-0 on the day. Duckett picked up four falls, all in the first period. He won the championship with a major decision over Greene County’s Brenner Gallagher, 14-0.

Freshman Ronnie Orres (12-6) finished third, going 3-1 with two falls and a decision at 106. Tyler Rossmanith (152) was seventh at 152 pounds.

KEY FACTS: Duckett is 61-24 in his third season on the varsity level.

ABOUT IOWA FALLS-ALDEN: The Cadets went 0-2 in a triangular on Tuesday. They lost a tight 35-30 dual to Crestwood Cresco and then fell to Osage 56-15. Mason Kent (132), Alberto Salmeron (138) and Cayden Howland (145) all won two matches.

ABOUT ROLAND-STORY: Roland-Story went 0-4 at the Dick Kennedy Invitational on Saturday. They lost to Forest City (58-21), Webster City (57-19), Woodward-Granger (54-27) and Cedar Rapids Xavier (51-30). Christian Eslick (126) won four matches for Roland-Story. Joe Hovick (113) and Jimmy Philipsen won three each.
