THE TIP: Girls action begins in Clear Lake at 6:15 p.m. with the boys to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.

GIRLS PROBABLES: St. Edmond (0-5 overall, 0-3 in NCC): Jocy Timmerman, jr., 10.2; Erin Flattery, sr., 8.8; Macey Mason, sr., 4.6; Jacque Oberg, sr., 4.6; Abby Landwehr, sr., 1.8; No. 2 (3A) Clear Lake (5-0, 3-0): Sara Faber, jr., 18.2; Julia Merfeld, jr., 9.0; Lexi Fasbender, jr., 9.6; Zoe Fasbender, soph., 6.6; Mikayla Vanderploeg, sr., 2.4.

KEY STATS: Flattery leads the Gaels in rebounds with 39, including 16 on the offensive glass. She also has six steals, which is tied for the team lead with Oberg. Landwehr has dished out 16 assists with Mason adding 28 rebounds, five assists and four steals.

LAST TIME OUT: St. Edmond dropped a 57-45 decision on the road to sixth-ranked (3A) Algona. Clear Lake scored a 60-27 victory over Webster City for its 22nd consecutive conference win.

ABOUT THE LIONS: Clear Lake averages 64 points per game and has knocked down 41 three-pointers on the year. Faber leads the team with 22 steals and also has 27 rebounds and 14 assists. As a team, the Lions have 73 steals and 76 assists.

BOYS PROBABLES: St. Edmond (2-3, 1-2): Mitchell Rasmussen, sr., 0.0; Drew Schaeffer, soph., 7.6; Andrew Gibb, sr., 26.8; Sean Newell, sr., 5.8; Jackson Kochendorfer, sr., 12.8; No. 5 (3A) Clear Lake (5-0, 3-0): Drew Enke, sr., 12.8; Tate Storbeck, sr., 14.6; Jaylen DeVries, jr., 4.6; Carson Toebe, fr., 11.0; Jared Penning, sr., 4.8.

KEY STATS: Gibb went over the 1,000-point mark for his career earlier this week. He is now the seventh all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,012 points. Kochendorfer leads the team in made triples, with 17 and rebounds, with 20. Jed Tracy has 19 assists, 16 points, 12 rebounds and six steals on the year off the bench.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaels dropped a 68-62 overtime decision to Algona. The Lions picked up a 61-52 victory over Webster City.

ABOUT THE LIONS: Clear Lake enters averaging 71 points per game with 92 assists as a team. DeVries leads the team with 42 rebounds and also has 16 assists and six steals. Toebe has 28 assists.
