MARSHALLTOWN — The Fort Dodge girls swim team completed their regular season with a convincing victory over Marshalltown here Tuesday night.

The final score was 116-70.

The Dodgers finished first and second in four events, winning nine events overall.

“It was a nice way to close out our regular season on a strong note,” FDSH head coach Ashley Beaumont said. “Now, we have some good momentum going into the conference meet.”

Grace Hartley and Madigan Peimann went 1-2 in the 200 I.M, Luanne Xiao and Hartley were first and second in the 100 backstroke, and Elora Fierke and Adyson McKinney won gold and silver in the 100 breaststroke.

Fort Dodge was also first and second in the medley relay.

Taylor Hartley won the 200 free and 100 free; Rylie Steinkamp claimed the 100 butterfly; Peimann won the 500 free; and the Dodgers also won the 400 free relay.

The 200 free relay was second and Brittany Kalvig third in diving.
