SPENCER — The Fort Dodge girls swim team picked up two more duals here Thursday, sweeping Spencer and Carroll.

The Dodgers downed Spencer, 58-36, and topped Carroll, 51-43.

Taylor and Grace Hartley finished first and second in both the 200 free and 500 free races.

Madigan Peimann was first in the 100 back and second in the 50 free, with Elora Fierke (200 I.M.), and the 400 free relay also winning events.

Luanne Xiao added a second in the 100 free.

“Overall, it was a really good night for us,” FDSH head coach Ashley Beaumont said. “Our varsity girls are tired right now, but I thought the junior varsity swimmers really had a great night, posting low times and helping us build depth here late in the season.”

For the Fort Dodge JV, Emily Schaffer was first in the 200 I.M., Adyson McKinney won the 500 free and the 400 free relay finished first.

The Dodgers return to action on Tuesday at Marshalltown.
