Warriors finish eighth in 2A
It was a tough Wednesday in the consolation rounds for North Union, as the Warriors dropped two games to finish eighth in Class 2A.
North Union fell to Logan-Magnolia in the consolation semifinals, 8-0, and dropped another 8-0 decision to Waterloo Columbus for seventh.
Senior Anna Ingalls had two hits in the opener while also striking out eight batters. She added five more strikeouts to her total in the second game and also had a hit at the plate.
Kyarsten Mullen had two hits on the day, while Kate Anderson, Rory McClellan and Katelyn Thackery each added one.
Ingalls, Rachel Monson and Kyarsten Mullen all played their final games for the Warriors.
